When it comes to selecting both classroom driver education and actual driving training there are many options available.  On-line verses classroom; basic instruction verses advanced skills.  One thing that parents can do is to educate themselves about the different options and what is best for their new teen driver.

Being a positive example for your teen driver

Like father like son, like mother like daughter.  It turns out these are true statements when it comes to teen driving behavior.  A study conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety confirms our suspicion that, "Do as I say, not as I do," is not an effective concept while mentoring your teen driver.
